“I FELT WARMLY  WELCOMED AND ACCEPTED”

I asked Sarah from England ” Why are you part of AAVM Internationals Community? And what does the AAVM Internationals Community me

an to you/for your life as an expat in Denmark?”

Her answer:
“I first came to Aarhus in order to study with the trumpet teacher at the music school Det Jyske Musikkonservatorium. The international community was a large factor in my decision to stay at AAVM church as I felt warmly welcomed and accepted. Despite being in a foreign country, I have felt at home in this church. I feel safe and encouraged in my faith, and enjoy fellowship with people from around the world, as well as getting to know some lovely Danes!”

AAVM INTERNATIONALS BRUNCH

Our AAVM Internationals Community loves fellowship – that is why we now started to meet every “Klynge Sunday” (every first Sunday of the month) for brunch, either at someone’s home or at a café in the city that we now call home. Thanks to this informal setting there is plenty of time to eat good food, share conversations about whatever currently matters most in our lives and most importantly also welcome new people. Last Sunday our gathered group consisted of 6 different nationalities. Everyone is welcome – so feel warmly invited to join us for our next Brunch on November 3rd at 11 am (location TBA) and invite especially your non-Danish-native friends along. 😉

Everyone is welcome to join the Internatonal Worship on October 20th, november 17th and december 15th. Follow on facebook to stay updated on events and news!
